i hav a broadband connection but there are some sites which open on dial up connection but noton brod hows it?

Be clear with ur question. If u live in a country like UAE or Thailand, some sites like Orkut and other social n/w sites can be blocked.They are based on the destination address and are blocked by the ISP as per orders from the SEcurity agencies. If the Software is blocking it, then make an entry for it, to allow those sites u want to open. Also check the ports the porgrams use and unblock the same, if thats t reason...

If it is not open for broadband will not open for dial up: so there may be problem in your computer or the sit which you are try to open
it may be related to your regonal or geographical settings for exampel in egypt ISPs don't allow any one to acces their sites unless they call their numbers
it may be something similar but i don't know any solutin for such a problem
