Norton 360, Norton antivirus 2007 question?downloads

Very true (to the answer under me) I recently purchased Norton for my computer and have witnessed my pc being very slow. Not only on the internet but using word documents, opening files etc. However, the good thing about it is that it protects everything and that every friday it does a full system scan for any viruses. However, it can be a pain when trying to get something done because it slows it down alot.

ive used norton for almost 3 years now and i love it,yes it uses alot of resources, but considering the amount of viruses, worms, ect.i think norton does a great job,if it does tend to run slow add more ram
Don't buy it.

It sucks.

it hogs all of the RAM

and it doesn't have a clean interface.

use McAfee
It's often Antivirus programs don't work very well and viruses slips through. This is not the case with Norton. Definately try it out here:
Your friend is rite Norton takes up a lot power on a compute it is very effective but slows down computer speed
Norton is a very good product but as stated above, it is very demanding on system resources (RAM). If you have a lot of RAM, then it isn't a problem but if you have insufficient RAM, you could experience freezing and crashes. Everything running needs RAM (graphics card, operating system, security products, office applications, gaming, etc).
