i have tried norton anti virus system scan. but i get a message yr system is infected. also a warning that temp internet files are infected. how do i get it removed.? any online free site where i can have a live scan and virus removed?

What virus does norton say you have? Did you try booting up in safe mode and deleting your temp internet files?

if norton anti virus cant take a virus out ,then go to www.avg.com and down load the free edition this will take out any virus, i have this virus scan on my computer and it works real good.

Ok, if it is just a temporary internet file...do this...
1. Open Internet Explorer
2. Click on Tools, Internet Options
3. There should be section on that first pane called temporary internet files. Go ahead and click on delete files.
4. Make sure to empty your recycle bin, then run norton scan again.
hey do u have a free version of norton ? if yes try byin full version! it will surely remove virus
