yes , what is your front bus speeed ,and how much ram can your computer take, and how much ram do you have , now days it takes 2 gb of ram to run smooth
When was the last time you clean out your trash bin or hit your fast clean sweep button or cleaned out your delete button, this stuff has to be done weekly if not daily!it slows down the computer the more its holding!hollywood
Have you considered getting a Mac? There are no viruses or spyware on the Mac.
Have you tried scan disk or defrag in the utilities area. Sometimes this will free up space and improve the speed of your computer. Hope this works disable any virus scans that may be running as this can slow the proccess, after you have defraged, turn your virus scan back on.
u need to get more ram or maybe reformat
increase your RAM, dont run to many processes in the background (like virus scanners), or get another processor (hard to do if you r not good w/ computers)
get a new one
You may want to check every file on your hard disk the first time that you run a virus scan, however, if you select to scan every file that is added to your hard disk while running programs, it has to read them twice, once by the virus scan and once to actually use the file. This is frequently the cause of deadly slow performance. Check your settings on your active virus scanning that is intended to protect you from new email attachments and office suite macros, not replaying videos and mp3 files. Use your head to pick and choose what to scan and what you can trust not to contain viruses.
Without knowing what kind of computer you have, try running defrag, increasing the memory, get rid of spyware, check for viruses, minimize or turn off any programs not in use that may be running in the background.
hi, i recommand you to use a more powerful and easy to use security suite. CA eTrust Internet Security Suite
